Halton Region Backflow Prevention Program
According to their website, Halton Region has implemented The Cross-Connection Control Program (CCCP) under the Safe Drinking Water Act. This program aims to safeguard the municipal water distribution system and prevent contamination from non-potable water sources. In line with Cross Connection Control By-law #61-11, it is mandatory for owners of industrial, commercial, institutional (ICI), and multi-unit residential properties to install appropriate water backflow prevention devices and ensure they are tested annually by a certified tester.
Feel free to contact us at any time if you have questions about your property’s compliance needs.
